Delivery & Shipping
General information
The delivery method, availability and delivery times of the articles can be found in the respective product description. The corresponding shipping and delivery costs are shown in the product description and in the shopping basket.
Shipping items
We have smaller items delivered to your home by DPD. The shipping costs are shown in the product description and are usually a flat rate of CHF 9 (per order). If the goods are available immediately, the delivery time is approx. 3 working days. Please note that it is noted in the respective product description whether the item can be sent by post. From a purchase value of CHF 100, we will pay the shipping costs.
Pick-up items
Collection items are calculated on the basis of collection by the customer. Of course, we are also happy to deliver these products to your home and assemble them for you. The costs for this service are charged per item and are shown in the product description. The minimum charge for this delivery and assembly service is CHF 90 per order.
Collection
Quick & easy – If you have opted for free collection from one of the Schubiger Möbel branches, goods in stock can be collected from the reception of the relevant branch 2 days after receipt of the order confirmation. If the goods are not in stock, you will be notified immediately after we have received the goods. In this case, there are no shipping or delivery costs. The locations of our branches and their opening hours can be found under our branches.
Delivery & assembly - full service
Simple & convenient – with Schubiger Full Service, you benefit from the professional and personalised service of our in-house specialists. From punctual delivery and professional assembly to final cleaning and disposal of the packaging material, we take care of everything. The full service price is displayed at check-out. These are shown in detail during the ordering process.
Delivery times and delivery
The delivery times for goods in stock are generally 3 to 10 working days, depending on the delivery method.
The delivery times for goods not in stock can be found in the product description. As soon as we have received the goods and they are ready for delivery, you will immediately receive a delivery date proposal from us. If this date does not suit you, please contact us immediately and we will find an alternative date for you. You are also welcome to let us know your preferred delivery date in the form of preferred weekdays or similar when you place your order. We will endeavour to take your wishes into account.
Please note that we can only accept postponed delivery dates free of charge up to 48 hours before the delivery date. In the event of last-minute postponements or absence on the day of delivery, we will have to charge you CHF 90 for travelling costs.
The customer must ensure free access to the flat. Additional costs for transport to car-free zones and furniture lifts on the occasion of delivery will be invoiced separately to the customer and are not included in the delivery price.
Unless otherwise agreed, the delivery is always carried out as a complete delivery. If the customer wishes a partial delivery, a separate offer will be made for this.
For security reasons, deliveries cannot be made to P.O. Box addresses.
Assembly
Upon delivery, we will also assemble the furniture at your request.
An exception to this is the assembly of goods with electrical components (e.g. ceiling lamps), which by law must be carried out by a qualified electrician or the end user.
Wall mounting is expressly at your own risk. We reject any damage in connection with insufficient load-bearing capacity of the walls, drilled water or power lines.
Returns
General information
For all products in stock, the customer has a right of return of 10 working days. This is noted on the respective item. In principle, we only accept returns if the original packaging is unopened. The customer is responsible for returning the goods to one of our store locations. For a flat rate of CHF 90, the customer has the option of commissioning Möbel Schubiger AG to return bulky, large goods – this applies to the greater Zurich area.
Goods not in stock are ordered from the manufacturer and manufactured according to your individual requirements. There is no right of return for such goods.
Returns note
A returns note with a pre-printed parcel address will be enclosed with each parcel. To ensure a smooth process, we ask you to complete the returns form in full and send it to us with your order (Schubiger Möbel, Online Returns, Überlandstrasse 423, 8051 Zurich)
Credit note
As long as the products are returned in their original packaging and in a clean condition, the purchase amount will be refunded. Please note that if you pay by credit card, the refund will also be made to your credit card. In the event of a store return, a direct cash payment is not possible.
