Rattan, or artificial rattan, which is widely used today, is the material from which almost all garden lounges are made. It is incredibly hard-wearing, weatherproof and lightweight. Our garden tables have tops made of ceramic, which is very scratch-resistant, easy-care HPL or sheet metal, for example. Garden tables or lounge tables made of rattan are also available, with a glass top to create a flat, solid surface.

If you decide on a wooden garden table or wooden garden chair, there is almost no way around teak. The Asian precious wood is naturally weatherproof, extremely durable and resistant to fungal attack and wood pests.

Many garden chairs have a lightweight aluminium frame and a seat and backrest made of Textilene. The miracle material Textilene is completely unaffected by water. You can leave it out in the rain or place it near the pool and lawn sprinkler. Textilene does not absorb water at all. Its stretchy nature also makes it extremely comfortable to sit on. Textilene is also often used to make garden chair cushions.
