Only together can we make a positive change in the world!
That's why we support various social projects
While we in Switzerland lead a privileged life, many people in other parts of the world suffer from poverty, lack of access to drinking water, educational opportunities and unrest in their country. Social problems can only be solved if we work together to help disadvantaged people. This is why Schubiger Möbel is particularly committed to social engagement. For several years, the family-run company has supported various social projects to give children a better life and prospects for the future.
Among other things, since 2012 we have been donating to the important work of Island Kids Philippines - a private aid organisation for street children and waste pickers as well as families affected by severe poverty in the Philippines. Consisting of a local foundation and an association in Switzerland and Germany, the organisation is committed to helping children and young people who have been abandoned and abandoned by society.

"Covid19 survival packages" project
The pandemic has hit developing countries particularly hard. Due to the restrictive measures to contain the pandemic, people already living in poverty have hardly any income opportunities. At the same time, government support, which was insufficient, came far too late.
As a result, the collection campaign for survival kits was launched, which also supports Schubiger Möbel with a donation campaign. Since April 2020, over 7,000 parcels containing urgently needed food and hygiene products have been distributed to people in need.
